"One of my favorite things to do is reward the businesses that deserve it with a good review but my State Farm insurance agent doesn't deserve a good review, he deserves a great review! Over the past 45 years I've had multiple insurance companies as well as multiple insurance agents and Michael Chien is by far the absolute best insurance agent I've ever had the pleasure to work with. For years the frustration of having to deal with insurance companies as well as insurance agents can go to level 10, but not with Michael, he is the most amazing and knowledgeable agent in the world. His understanding of the business of insurance and the workings of the trade is beyond words. He has been instrumental in giving my family and me the most amazing service through every type of circumstance, whether I need to deal with claims, or dealing with new type of coverage that I definitely do not understand! "The worst insurance company that I've ever interacted with. State Farm will twist itself into pretzels to avoid ever paying out to its customers. I've been a customer for perhaps six years. Auto loan was pretty standard - the home insurance was wildly sub standard. Perhaps this company should spend less on NBA commercials and more on service and coverage for customers. ***With regard to your response, Michael -- it wasn't just the landslide/ storm damage. I had several flooding problems in the house over a few years, and State Farm did everything it could to deny any responsibility and refuse any help. Ultimately, State Farm covered nothing, forced me to get expensive inspections out of pocket - and then dropped me anyway. You seem like a nice guy. It's a shame that you work for such a predatory organization."
